Introducing Four Brow Tints for Every Look

Most brow tint that you’ll find out there comes in blond, dark brown, and auburn for the most natural hair colors that mimic your brows. However, we’ve also added a fourth color, clear, that is perfect for getting unruly hairs back in place without adding any color. These four brow tints come in a small tube with a brow-sized mascara wand that is easy to use. Some of the benefits of this product include:

• It is easy to get perfect brows with just a few quick strokes. You simply swipe on the gel color like a mascara and you’re perfectly manicured for the day.
• The gel product isn’t sticky or tacky, and it doesn’t flake either. Instead, it dries to a natural finish that maintains the color without turning white or flaky.
• You can use this product with other brow products. Use your favorite brow powder to fill in your brows, then use this gel to tame your brow hair into the correct shape. The clear brow tint is especially great if you like to experiment with unique brow shades to match wild hair colors.
• If you don’t want to add color to your brows, but do want to add a bit of thickness, try the clear gel. It can create the appearance of fuller hair without adding any darkness.

How to Use Our Brow Tint

If you would like to fill in your brows with a pencil or a powder, start with this step. Then uncap the mascara wand and remove any excess brow tint gel as needed. Starting at the tip of the brow tail, and working towards the front of the brow, apply the gel against your natural hair growth pattern in a light sweep. This step adds volume to your brows making them appear full.

Then sweep the brush back in the direction of the hair growth from the front to the tail, which brushes the hairs back into place. Allow each brow a few minutes to dry and you’re all done! Check out Honey Girls World for more of our new products.

How to Clean the Brow Tint Brush

Cleaning the Brow Tint brush, also called a spoolie, is a good idea about once every week to prevent any build up in color that can leave behind streaks. Use a makeup wipe or a makeup remover to wipe off the spoolie. Then soak the head of the spoolie in a cup of isopropyl alcohol. This sanitizes the brush to prevent bacteria from causing breakouts or irritation. Soak for about a minute.  One step further, you can use baby shampoo to totally clean the spoolie.

While the brush is soaking, dab a Q-tip into the alcohol and swab around the top of the Brow Tint tube to remove any product that has built up there. Next, dry the spoolie bristles completely and allow to air dry before replacing back into the tint.  Here is a great video on cleaning mascara brushes, but same concept.

Pro Tips

Did you know that our Brow Tint can also be used as mascara? You can use the colored Brow Tint as a fantastic mascara replacement or use the clear gel as a way to thicken your lashes without adding color. Use it before you apply a colored mascara or use it alone for a thicker, natural look.

Here are a few other pro tips for our Brow Tint:

• You don’t need to force your brows to be shaped a certain way. In fact, working with the natural shape of your brow will always give you the best look. Don’t let fashion or what you’ve seen on others dictate what your brows should look like – work with what you’ve got and you’ll have a much easier time taming your brows.
• If you want to find the gaps in your brows to fill in with a pencil or powder, start with a clean, dry mascara wand and brush the brows upwards. When the hairs are all pointed up, you can see the gaps to fill in much easier.

• Instead of plucking your eyebrows with tweezers, use a pair of brow scissors to trim them instead. Brush the hair upwards at an angle and trim the longer hairs along the brow line. This will keep your whole look much neater.
• Makeup pros all agree that going with a brow tint that is closest to your natural hair color is best. Trying to go lighter or darker can make your face appear under- or over-framed.
• However, if you choose a color that isn’t your natural shade, be sure it compliments your skin tone! Warmer colors like auburn work perfectly with skin that golden, yellow, peachy, or pale brown. Cooler colors like brown work better with skin that has pink or bluish undertones.
