The Best Tool to Use for Under Eye Concealer
The best way to make your perfect makeup last all day is to use a great setting product. But the product is only as good as your application. This setting makeup brush is the perfect tool to help you get that photo-ready look all day long.
What is the Pro Setting Makeup Brush?
This is a small, fluffy brush with tapered bristles that is used to set other products with a setting powder. It is ideally used for setting under-eye concealer, but can also be used to dust away eye shadow fall out, or to apply highlighter and contour to small areas like the nose.
What to Look for in a Setting Brush
When we set out to create a setting brush, we wanted a small bristle head that would fit under the eye perfectly to prevent those unsightly concealer creases that plague us all. Long, fluffy bristles are ideal because they allow for very light, yet very even, coverage in an area where heavy makeup would be noticeable. Finally, we looked for a bristle that wouldn’t absorb product, because that not only wastes your product, but it prevents you from getting the most even finish. Our pro Setting Makeup Brush accomplishes all of these things.

How to Use the Pro Setting Makeup Brush
Using this brush to apply setting powder is very simply. Dab the bristles into the powder and tap off any excess. If you are setting your under-eye area, look up towards the ceiling as you do this, to open the area and smooth out the skin as much as possible. With a very light hand, start at the inner corner of the eye and press the product into your skin, moving in stippling motions towards the outer corner.

Here’s a tip: if you have a tendency to use too much setting powder, hold the brush at the far end of the solid wood handle; that will help you get a lighter touch. Additionally, remember that our brushes are made with a synthetic fiber that is designed to not soak up product. You don’t need as much makeup as you may be used to with a natural fiber brush.
How to Care for the Pro Setting Makeup Brush
Caring for this brush will ensure that it lasts for years. In addition to wiping off excess product every time you use it, perform a deep clean about once a week. Simply wet the bristles with lukewarm water, and then massage into a drop of mild soap or brush cleaner in the palm of your hand. Then rinse the bristles, squeeze out the moisture, and reshape the brush head. When you lay the brush down to dry, make sure the brush head is hanging over the edge of the counter. This prevents mildew from growing and keeps the brush in the right shape.
