What is the Purpose of Clear Mascara

Clear mascara is obviously not used to darken the lashes, so what is it used for? Well it serves the same purpose as black or brown mascara (just not with the color). It has a very natural purpose to give the lashes a little bit of curl.

Clear mascara can be great to wear to the beach or for days when you’re doing some running around, to prevent the “raccoon eyes.” There’s nothing worse than going to the beach or for a swim and even that waterproof mascara is running down your face. Clear mascara does not leave huge black runs or clump during the day.

This mascara can also be used in the brows. If you have longer eyebrows, the texture of the clear mascara will help to hold the eyebrows in place to prevent crazy eyebrows that you would have maybe in between waxing.

Clear mascara can be worn everyday or just for those times that you just don’t want to deal with the mess of black mascara. Go for a more natural look and apply clear mascara to the top or bottom lashes and add some curl.
