How to Put Foundation On With A Blending Sponge?
Blending sponges may be used in various ways for a flawless application. During makeup applications, different techniques should be incorporated. Some areas of the face may require the technique of stippling, while another part of the face you may want to pat or rub.
When first applying foundation to the face, makeup should be dabbed on with clean fingertips. Then with the blending sponge, stippling is ideal. Stippling with the blending sponge allows an even coverage of foundation all over the face. This is a spreading movement. Stippling is done best on the lager areas of the face including: forehead, cheeks, and chin.
Foundation may be rubbed under the eyes and around the nose, to ensure the coverage in those areas. After the foundation is on, again take the sponge and use a stippling movement.
Makeup application should include many different techniques for a perfect look. Whether you are stippling, rubbing, or patting on make up, the application depends on the area of the face that is being worked on.
