How to Conceal Dark Under Eye Circles
One of the biggest and most common problems among women is under eye circles and finding the right product is key to proper concealing.
Concealer is the best makeup to use when covering under eye circles. Concealer come in pencils, pots, wands, or sticks in a range of colors to match the skin tone. The shade of the concealer should be slightly warmer than the natural skin tone. The perfect match should disappear into the skin when swiped on. Next is deciding on the correct consistency. A product that comes in a pot will give the greatest coverage, a concealer stick will give moderate coverage and a wand has the least.
Apply the product with a small, pointed concealer brush. Be sure to cover the entire eye, including the inner corners and the upper lid. This will brighten the whole eye. By using a light translucent powder over the concealer, it will have an illuminating effect. The powder may also have a light shimmer. Black eyeliner along the lash line will define the lashes and distract the eyes. Follow with two coats of mascara. Accentuating the eye brows will also distract from under eye circles. This can be done simply by enhancing the arch of the brow with a few light strokes using a brow pencil.
