How To Add Eye-Catching Details to Your Look
Highlighter Palette
Whether you love to dress up your favorite makeup looks for a glam night out, or you adore wearing eye-catching details with your everyday looks, highlighter is a must for any makeup collection. The trends in the makeup industry right now range from “subtle glow” to “can be seen from space” highlighters, and everything in between. This highlighter palette offers a range of shades that you can use to get nearly any look, for almost all skin tones. Here’s what you need to know about these long-wearing highlighters.
Introducing the Highlighter Palette
Our Highlighter Palette can be used day or night, thanks to the silky, buildable formula. You can swipe on just a subtle hint of color for a lovely inner glow, or build up the look to give you a gorgeous party-ready face. A little definitely goes a long way with these highlighters, and they offer perfectly smooth finishes every time.
Each palette includes six colors:
- Fiery Bronze is a true, bright bronze with a lot of color pay off. Perfect as a highlighter for deep skin tones, or as a colorful addition to eyeshadow for lighter skin tones.
- After Hours is a shimmering taupe with cooler undertones that would make a great “glow from within” highlighter for medium skin tones.
- Polished is a light nude highlighter with pinker undertones. This would be perfect on fair and light skin tones.
- Memorable is a medium nude highlighter with yellow undertones that would look great on olive skin tones.
- Intense is a medium gold highlighter with neutral, peachy undertones that would be perfect for medium and tanned skin tones.
- Magnetic is a pale gold highlighter with pinky beige undertones that would work well on a wide range of light to medium skin tones.
Each highlighter can be removed, and the palette can be refilled with other highlighters or pressed powders.
Why Use Our Highlighter Palette?
When we set out to design our Highlighter Palette, our primary goal was to create something that would look great on all skin types. While you can build up a natural, shimmery glow to a more exciting, powerful highlight, it’s hard to tone down a very glittery or intensely frosty highlighter if your skin is dry or aging. So, we created our highlighter palette with soft shimmer products. There’s nothing too glittery or frosty in here, so you’ll get a healthy glow. If you want to look like a disco ball, you can – but the inclusive shade range is mostly for every-day wear.
This palette is also travel-friendly in a compact shape and size that is easy to bring along. If you run out of a highlighter or want to replace a color that isn’t right for your skin tone with your favorite pressed contour, finishing powder, or some other face products, the palette is easy to customize.

Finally, the best reason to use our Highlighter Palette is that it makes any face look wide awake, bright, young, and full of energy. Highlight has a way of making the face look as though you’ve slept well and are still full of adventure. The youthful glow that it adds to any skin tone is perfect for everything from special occasions to everyday life.
How to Apply Highlighter
In order to apply highlighter, start by applying foundation, setting powder, and blush or bronzer. If you intend to contour, do that before the highlighter as well. Highlighter will be the last thing you add to your face besides setting spray, because you don’t want to cover it up with other colors or products.
Use highlighter anywhere on the face that you want to draw attention to. Common areas include the tops of the cheekbones, the cupid’s bow of the lips, the middle of the forehead, down the front of the nose, on the very tip of the nose, and in the middle of the chin. Once you decide where you want to place your highlighter, gently dip and swirl your brush into the product, and tap off any excess. Then sweep onto the face and blend with small sweeping motions.

Caring for Pressed Shadow Products
In order to prevent any skin oils or debris from ruining your highlighter, it’s a good idea to sanitize the powder itself whenever you wash your brushes. To do this, gently wipe the surface of the powder with a dry tissue. Then use a brush that has been lightly soaked in rubbing alcohol (with no dripping) and sweep it across the top of the powder. That’s all you have to do to sanitize your powder. Let it dry and you’re good to go.
Fun Ways to Make Highlighter Part of Your Makeup Routine
There are many ways to use highlighter beyond the standard cheeks, forehead, and chin application. For example, use highlighter to accent your brow bone or the inner corner of your eye. Put a sweep of highlighter on your collarbones to make them stand out a bit. Add a touch of highlighter over a lipstick to add some plumping shine to your favorite lip color. Wearing a short dress and want your legs to stand out? Add a swipe of highlighter to the front of your shins.
One tip to keep in mind when using highlighter is to place it only in areas where your skin is fairly smooth and even. Highlighter draws attention to wherever it is placed. If you layer highlighter over wrinkles, textured skin, acne, or blotchy areas that you would usually want to hide, it will only accentuate these things.
