Caring for This Brush

Caring for the pro Angled Shading Brush is very easy. About once per week, you should sanitize the brush and allow it to air dry to prevent bacteria. Here’s how to do it:

STEP 1: Hold the brush upside down under running water so that only the bristles are getting wet. It’s very important to not let water run down into the ferrule because that can cause shedding and fiber breakdown.

STEP 2: Squeeze out excess water and product until the water runs clear.

STEP 3: Put a small drop of mild hand soap plus some olive oil into your palm and still holding the brush upside down, massage it into the mixture. Do this carefully so you don’t break any of the fibers.

STEP 4: Rinse the brush out under the water until all the cleanser is gone and then squeeze out the excess water.

STEP 5: Allow the brush to air dry in a way that doesn’t let water drip down towards the ferrule. You can hang it upside down or set it on a counter so that the bristles hang off the edge. This also lets the bristles dry in their natural shape.
