Stipple! The Answer to Acneic and Dry Skin
Duo Fiber Mini Stippling Brush
Do you watch beauty tutorials, but can’t ever seem to get your highlighter, contour, and concealer as perfect as the models? Makeup doesn’t have to be hard, but there are certain ways of using makeup that cause it to look differently on everyone. For example, did you know that if you have very dry skin, dragging your highlighter with a brush can cause it to settle into those dry patches? And if you have acne-prone skin, trying to blend concealer over pimples often just results in wiping away your product. A better way to go about getting your flawless face if you have very dry or acne-prone skin is to stipple! But you can’t use just any brush for this.

Enter the Duo Fiber Mini Stippling Brush
Stippling brushes are flat top brushes that allow you to dab product into your skin rather than smearing or wiping. This keeps product where you put it and helps get a better finish. But most stippling brushes are used for foundation, so they are very large. If you want the careful precision of a concealer brush, you need something smaller. That’s why we introduced the mini version of our top selling stippling brush.
What are Duo Fibers?
What sets this line apart is the synthetic brush fiber that is used to create the unique bristles. You’ll see that they are black at the bottom and white at the top. The black area creates a firm, dense base that allows you to stipple makeup into your skin. The white bristles at the top are very light and airy, so that you get an even and light finish across your face. No more looking like a pancake with too much makeup! This is great for working with very pigmented makeup that tends to be hard to blend. And the reason we chose man-made fibers is to help you stop wasting so much product. Natural fibers have a cuticle that sucks up product; our bristles only need a small amount to give you a perfect everyday face.

Using the Mini Stippling Brush
The best uses for our mini stippling brush include applying liquid highlighter, applying cream contour, and applying concealer over blemishes. However, you can also use this brush with powders. To use it, simply load with a small amount of product, tap off any excess powder, and stipple into the desired area. Use a soft circular motion to blend, being careful that only the white part of the bristles touch your face.
Caring for the Mini Stippling Brush
Just because this brush uses a unique type of bristle does not mean it is hard to care for. About once per week, you can do a deep cleanse to keep it sanitary. Otherwise, simply rinse or wipe off excess product each time you use it. You can also spritz the brush with a daily makeup brush cleaner and wipe clean to get rid of surface germs.
